7. The Seventh Reflection of Philosophy of Mathematics Education

Talking about dimension, the most primitive dimension are space and time. But, if we extend into large, there are many dimension such that dimension of policy, dimension of economy, etc. When it reach this time, it will be more easy to understand. But, it is the freedom of having philosophy. dimension of space and time, dimension of vertical and horizontal, suitable with Cartesian dimension. In one imension, two dimension or three dimension or dimension that called space dimension, time may be increasing time by time, but dimension of can not. dimension of space can be decreasing. dimension of social also like this. So people can not define the definition. Something that can not be define or it will look weird if it is tranlslated will be said to be intuition.

Then, talking about something, everythis in this world usefull or not. Something that usefull or not is depend on space and time. Is it steal usefull? It can be said yes and no. Steal of course is not good in spriritual and in norm of life. But this condition happened as warning. Warning for every people especially the object of steal. So it can be said that everything ij this world of course usefull. Usefull but have certain porposional. The other example is eating. Eating is usefull but too much eating is not useful.

In this lecturing, Mr. Marsigit said that, “Rebut kembali intuisi dan kembangkanlah pembelajaran yang mengoptimalkan kebenaran intuisi.” It means that intuition is so important to develop optimal learning based the truth of intuition. So, intuition in mathematical learning is like that. To optimalize it, intuition is very usefull in this case.

Definition can not be define. Hence the truth of intuition sciencely still wuestioned. It doesn’t need definition. Beautiful, handsome, good is intuition and don’t need definition. People can not define it formally. So, intuition can be sharpen by experience.

Talking about Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Spiritual Quotient (SQ), and Emotional Quotient (EQ), emotional and mind, something they are not sincron between mind and heart. Something it want to be angry without reason. It is the phenomena that logic defeated by heart. When it use heart, the role of logic and mind is become small. 

6. The Sixth Reflection of Philosophy of Mathematics Education

Understanding the philosophy has the same problem with understanding the others philosophy. Philosophy of biology, philosophy of physics, philosophy law, etc. It will be easy to understand that philosophy hence people understanding the general philosophy. In education, something that understood parsially is dangerous. If people doing philosophy because of spiritual, if he or she doesn’t follow the teacher’s instruction will be getting crazy. If he or she doesn’t follow the instruction, he or she will be crazy. So, people have to know the norma, norma in getting intuition in studying philosophy. Then the norma that is developed by Mr. Marsigit is by making elegy. Based on the experience is try to translate what happened in the environment. There are many purpose for people who read elegy and when he or she is sincere following the instruction from the teacher it will get many advantages. But, there is no word “late” in studying philosophy. There are three hierarchy of general philosophy that are the hierarchy of science, the methodology, and the advantages.\

The philosophy is always continue. Macroscopiesly and microcopiesly. Macroscopiesly from yunani era. Microcopiesly is my self as my adventure of my life. The people that success in studying spiritual is smart in that heart. But people that studying philosophy is smart in thinking. If people failed in studying philosophy he or she will be crazy.

Stop as philosophy is very dangerous because it will be eaten by mythe like vanity. Studying, looking for the experience is sunatulloh method. It is life, hermeneutica. So, study everything and read the elegy. If we connect with vanity, in the elegy of “ritual ikhlas”, how much we have sincere.

Finding the experience as many as possible, sharpen the ability. The vanity is the first sin and the hardest sin. And the guidance is devil. The source of vanity is potential, the container and the content. If we extend, all what there exist and doesn’t exist always have vanity. The source of vanity is such that the wealth of parents, the characteristics in our life, etc. The vanity is taken in back, but philosophy is taken in front of the word.

Everything will be disappear if it learned by vanity. Student that doesn’t want read elegy is also have vanity. Mr. Marsigit said that,” Jangankan dirimu, diriku saja tidak mampu melawan kesombonganku, kecuali dengan pertolongan-Nya”. It means that vanity is exist and it is always exist and it must be eliminated.
