Resume (3) English for Mathemathics Education I, Week (1)

“INOVASI PEMBELAJARAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN GAIRAH
SISWA DALAM BELAJAR”

In Mr. Marsigit’s paper, Jaworski (1994:83) tell that managing learning is not easy because we find that sometimes students get difficulty in their study. Therefore they said that there is no exact way to teach. In the other side founded a fact that it’s not easy for a teacher to change how to teach (Dean, 1982:32). Meanwhile a teacher must adaptation with learning methodology in the development time (Alexander, 1994: 20).  Based on that focus, there are at least 4 viewed ( Kuhs dan Ball, 1986 dalam Grouws, 1992): (content focused – conceptual Understanding,  (content focus – performance), (learner focus – construction, (classroom focus – effective classroom.
In this paper, focused in innovation of learning with develop it’s curriculum. Develoing curriculum according to Becher & Maclure, 1978 said that Instrumental curriculum focus on academic and technic approach, Interactive curriculum focus on social approach, and individual curriculum focus on individual cognition development of student.
The substances of student consist of 3 part, they are cognitive, afective, and psichomotoric development. Cognitive development according to Ebbutt and Straker (1995: 60-75), give viewed that the student potentional can growth up optimally, assumption about the charactheristics of student and the implementation to learning as follow: student will study if they have motivation, student study with their own way, student study both indepent study and cooperative study, and the student have  different context of study.
According to Krathwhol, attitude appear when a student have commitment, preference, value, receive of value, the satisy of respon, and the wanted to respon. The interest appear when there are  value preference, value receive, satisfy respon, the wanted to respon. And both of them (value and interest) must be connected.
In psychomotorics, student given a chance to demonstrate their ability and skills to do the activity of learning mathematics.
