From the result of research that Mr.Marsigit done in (1995, 1997, 1999, 2002) that most of teacher still use traditional methods of learning called expository, with the siklus are explain the material, give examples, give questions,and give assignments classically. With this method, teachers have difficulty in:
1)      Serve the need of students in learning mathematics
2)      Pursue the students with low level to increase their ability
3)      Pursue the student to be active
4)      Use and develop mathematics learning kit
5)      Pursue student to be cooperative learning

A research about methods expected to change the problem of mathematical learning process. According to Cockroft Report (1982, para 243 page 198) that every level of mathematical learning should as a place for teacher that can express choosen one or more methods dinamicly and flexible. The methods that are used in learning should be the combination o below:
1)      Exposition method
2)      Discussuion method
3)      Exercise method and giving assignments
4)      Experiment method
5)      Problem solving method
6)      Use of learning aids
