Memanfaatkan Microsoft Word 2007
Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Geometri di SMP

Nowdays mathematics learning process is improved rapidly, even the media of studying. Many kinds of media used to make the study more easy. One of the media is Microsoft Word 2007. Why Ms. Word 2007? Because it has smart simple tool to do all about drawing geometry objects. We only use Microsoft 2007 and we get create many various geometry objects.
The fundamental shape is how to create usual shape by use feature Insert-Shape. The students can choose what they want to draw, or students can also set others by use the tools such as to set the colour, the background, the line colour, or even to change the effect of the shape, and the characteristics and the measure o what they want to change. Or if the students need a help they can use help menu as their enjoyable friends.
The materials in Junior High School that can be learned using Microsoft Word 2007 such as in 2D or even 3D can be explained in Ms.Word 2007. It’s depend on the ability of the people who draw it, but don’t worry the skill can be learned by the process. In 3D, there are many various tools such as tools that can help to make a 3D, make over the 3D as we want, give the feature or givethe name or something in this picture is also allowed.
Learning using Microsoft Word 2007 is expected because of some reasons:
- The used is relatively easy for the theacher
- The used of it will improve the student’s motivation
- The students can use Microsoft Word 2007 to learn geometry independently or together with their friends.
- Students can investigate the problems
- Students can do problems sloving
- Students can communicate the result with their teachaer or even with their friends.
